Berlin, Germany, 2022. This small installation was created for a DIY group exhibition. I painted hands, each finger holding something a person might long for—love, courage, rest, hope, or joy. Visitors were invited to pause, reflect on what they needed most, and physically take it.
The gesture transforms an abstract wish into a tangible action. By engaging the body, not just the mind, the act of choosing and taking becomes a small ritual—one that makes the desired quality feel more present, attainable, and possible.
Christmas tree massacre
Berlin, Germany, 2020. An urban art installation exploring the hundreds of thousands of trees killed each year for holiday decoration. Trees were suspended from a bridge, evoking unsettling imagery of hangings and prompting questions such as: When does tradition become wasteful? Is nature conscious and alive, just like you and me? Do trees, for example, deserve the same reverence we grant ourselves?
