Group Therapy
In November 2007, I will be starting a bereavement group. The theme of the group will focus on issues of loss pertaining to the death of a loved one. Often the death of a loved one can bring up a variety of feelings including guilt, anger, sadness, despair, anxiety, and fears about your own mortality. When unexpressed or misunderstood, these feelings can become overwhelming and disorienting. At times not only do they interfere with the activities you were used to performing prior to your loss, they also affect your relationships. If you are having difficulties coping with or understanding your feelings and thoughts or if you just need a safe place to express yourself and relate to others who have gone through something similar, this group would be helpful to you. Please feel free to contact me to set up an individual consultation.
